Meet K
Hi, I'm Kalee! I'm a 32-year-old entrepreneur from Kalamazoo, Michigan, and the proud owner of K's Konfections. I started my business in January 2021 with just $12 to my name, and through determination and passion, I've built something truly special.
My specialties are custom-designed chocolate-covered strawberries, caramel pretzels, and cheesecake bowls. The strawberries bring me the most joy and allow me to be the most creative. Each arrangement is crafted with love and attention to detail, creating not just treats, but experiences that bring people together.
Beyond being a business owner, I'm also a mom of three amazing boys, a court observer at the Kalamazoo Defenders office, and a student pursuing my bachelor's in criminal justice. Every day is a new adventure, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
K's Inspiration
My journey with K's Konfections began during a challenging time in my life. After experiencing postpartum depression following the birth of my second son, I found inspiration in a video of chocolate-covered strawberries and breakable chocolate hearts. What started as a small Valentine's Day project with 12 orders has blossomed into a business that brings joy to our community.
My three boys have created an incredible fire within me. They inspire me every day to create something beautiful that spreads love and joy. Each arrangement I create is a reflection of the love and passion they've helped me discover.
